*The Los Angeles County Coroner's office continues to investigate the death of Texas rap star Pimp C nearly two months after his body was discovered in a hotel room in Hollywood.

       "We are not releasing any preliminary information at this time," operations chief Craig Harvey told AllHipHop.com. "We're still conducting a series of tests. Once the test results are complete, then we will be in a position where we'll be releasing a final cause of death."      

       Security staff at the Mondrian Hotel found Pimp C dead in his room on Dec. 4, one day after the 33-year-old rapper's family and friends say he was scheduled to check out.     

      The artist, whose real name is Chad Butler, appeared to have died of natural causes, officials said at the time. No drugs or drug paraphernalia was present in the room.

       Harvey said that the test results should be ready within the next 10-15 days, reports allhiphop.com.
