MASTA KILLA

Wu-Tang Clan rapper Masta Killa has been honoured by youth animal rights organization peta2 for his stance on animal cruelty.

The star was named Most Animal-Friendly Hip-Hop Artist by the offshoot of the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) this week, beating peers Sage Francis, K-os and dead prez.

Masta Killa has previously said, "I’ll do anything that’s going to save animals. Anytime I can encourage people to think twice before (doing) anything to animals, that’s a good thing."

The vegetarian rapper has previously appeared in a peta2 advertising campaign encouraging people to give up meat.
