*In assuring that his daughter would perform at the Grammy's despite a threatened WGA picket line, Mathew Knowles released a statement last week saying "We have an incredible Beyonce performance that will be announced soon."

      "Soon" came a little earlier than expected, as both People magazine and the New York Daily News cited sources yesterday claiming the 26-year-old will perform a duet with music dynamo Tina Turner.

      When asked to confirm the reported Beyonce/Turner performance, a Grammys rep told the Daily News: "We haven't released any presenters or performers, and until we do, nothing is confirmed."

       As previously reported, the Writers Guild of America announced it will not picket the awards show, which allows celebs to attend the Feb. 10 ceremony in Los Angeles guilt-free.
