Britney Spears took time out of her wild weekend to select and send items from upmarket Los Angeles baby store Petit Tresor to new mum Christina Aguilera.

Aguilera gave birth to baby Max on Saturday and Spears wanted to be among the first to congratulate her former Mickey Mouse Club pal and pop chart rival.

Ironically, Aguilera used the same store when she sent gifts to Spears after the pop star gave birth to her second baby Jayden James in 2006.
