Nicole Richie's new baby looks just like her. Proud new dad Good Charlotte frontman Joel Madden has spoken about how wonderful four-day-old Harlow Winter is, and how he is coping with parenting.

Joel wrote on his web blog: "I am finally home with my beautiful girlfriend and our brand new little daughter."

"She looks so much like her mom its crazy! She eats like a little maniac and she's really sweet. She barely ever cries, even when daddy is changing her diaper, and believe me I suck when it comes to diapers, but I'm learning!"

"She is 19 inches long and growing everyday already! We are so blessed to have this beautiful little baby in our lives."

The 28-year-old rocker also urged fans who had sent gifts to the Los Angeles' Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, where Nicole gave birth, to donate them to the charity he and Nicole set up for young mothers.

He said: "I want to thank everyone for all the love and kind words they've sent our way. We apologize we weren't accepting gifts, cards and calls at the hospital, but if you'd like to send something, we'd rather you make a donation to the Richie-Madden Foundation, which we started in Harlow Winter's honor."
