Rapper MASTA KILLA was so devastated after losing his WU-TANG CLAN bandmate OL’ DIRTY BASTARD, he broke down in tears. The 38-year-old - real name Elgin Turner - struggled to overcome his grief after hearing the tragic news, and eventually wrote the song Life Changes in tribute to the late hip-hop star, who died of an accidental overdose whilst recording at the group’s New York studio in 2004. And he admits ODB’s passing has hit him hard - defying his image as a ‘hard man’. He tells the New York Post’s PageSix, "I miss my brother, you know? I’m not even the type of dude that distills too much. When I say distills, I mean cry. I’m one for sucking it up and turning it into positive energy. "But even when I was writing that (Life Changes), I shed a tear or two. It was hard. And I did it in the studio where he expired. It was kind of tough." Related Videos:
