Producer SCOTT STORCH has been forced to return a $7,500 painting to a gallery owner in Florida - after failing to pay for the piece of art. Storch - who has produced tracks for the likes of 50 Cent, Chris Brown and Christina Aguilera - is reported to be in financial difficulty after recently having his credit cards declined at a club in Miami. And South Beach gallery owner Dmitry Prut has further fuelled rumours of his growing monetary problems, after he resorted to paying Storch a personal visit to collect an outstanding debt from the beatmaker, according to the New York Post’s gossip column PageSix. He says, "It’s a beautiful pop culture piece of a girl raising her skirt by Amir Aziz. He (Storch) said he loved it, so I gave it to him, along with an invoice. "He had it hanging in his billiards room for four months and ignored my calls to please pay me for the piece." And when Prut drove to Storch’s Miami mansion to demand the cash or return of the painting, he was surprised at how easily the transaction took place. He adds, "His security guy answered and went on about how much Scott loves it, but I said, ‘I have to pay my own bills.’ His security brought it right out to me and that was that. I returned it to my gallery." A representative for Storch has yet to comment of the reports.
