Queens Legend, LL Cool J, has joined up with the Harlem Capo, Jim Jones, for a new track on LL's forthcoming album
Exit 13.
Speaking on the collabo LL said
"No pen or nothing, he just looked up in the air and just came up with some heat". He also added that
"the album is serious."LL went on to say one of his keys for longevity and relevance in the biz was his ability to evolve with Hip-Hop music.
He says "
There's a lot of room out there for everyone to get what the need to get. Dreams don't have deadlines, so you might as well embrace the new era the new time and the new groups and all that.""Don't be standing up under Niagara Falls saying 'wait a minute' cause it's going to keep flowing anyway. You might as well get with the program all that and rock out and enjoy yourself and live life."
Other confirmed names for the album include KRS-One, Method Man & Lil Kim.
Exit 13 will be LL's final album under Def Jam which has been recording home for over twenty years.
