Prodigy and Jay-Z

Never one to bite his tongue, Mobb Deep’s Prodigy has feuded with Tupac Shakur and Keith Murray just to name a few. Though hard at work promoting his new album, H.N.I.C Part. 2, P took time to address two of his more recent rivals, Jay-Z and Saigon.

Apparently the feud between Prodigy and Jay-Z feud isn't over.  In a recent interview with rhapsody.com, the Queens emcee revealed that Hova will always be “Gay-Z” to him. P’s latest stabs come six years after “Takeover,” a Jay-Z diss song that many feel marks P’s decline as an emcee. But to let P tell it, Jay didn’t do much damage.

“That’s impossible. Nobody can do that to me. I got too much fire in my heart. How you think I’m going at Jay-Z? How you think I be going at Pac? This is what we do, son,” P told BET.com.  “Nobody can stop this. We’re like a snowball going downhill, son. You cannot stop this. I’ll write a few songs about you. I’ll go in on you. And then, it’s aight, back to what I do. So, for people to say he fell off…come on, man. That’s impossible. I’m not a fluke. I’m tried and proven. I’m tried and tested. You gotta do it more than five times, more than seven times. Mobb Deep is real, P is real.”

Just this past September, P got into an altercation with Saigon at New York’s SOB’s club. The next day, several clips leaked that showed Sai punching Prodigy.  P then released his own version of the footage, showing Saigon being “chased out of the club.” Sai admitted running, but said he was outnumbered by P's people “30-4.” Meanwhile P claims he wouldn’t be caught dead running from anybody.

“I wouldn’t be in Saigon’s shoes. I don’t move like that. That’s why you don’t see Prodigy running on tape,” P responded when asked if he would run in a similar scenario. “You’ll never see that. That’ll never happen to me. I’ve been in the game how long, 16 years? That’ll never happen to me. It would have happened already.”
