J.K. ROWLING

Harry Potter creator J.K. Rowling has created a family tree for the boy wizard - but has ruled out penning a sequel to her seven-volume saga.

The British author admits it has been impossible to let go of Harry Potter since her final book was released earlier this year (07), so she has created a family tree which offers a glimpse into the future of the book's characters.

But Rowling is adamant she will not write another Potter book, despite recent reports to the contrary.

She says, "I can't help it. It was like running a race and you get to the finishing line and you're running too fast to stop, so I do know what happened afterwards and I couldn't stop my imagination doing that.

"It gives me a certain satisfaction to say what I thought happened and to tell other people that, because I would like my version to be the official version."
