Omarion

Singer Omarion has commented on the recently leaked footage of him and partner being interviewed for BET's "The Black Carpet," and he says that the young duo want their respect.

The internet has been talking about the leaked footage in which Bow Wow is seen going off on BET interviewer, Toure, because of his silly questions (see "Quickies: Bow Wow Goes Off On BET's Toure" ). But what the duo didn't know, the "disrespectful questions" (in the words of Bow Wow) were actually planned out, and were a joke, according to MTV.

During the interview, Toure asks the pair questions like "Do you take moves from people like Chris Brown?" to Omarion, and even tells Bow Wow that Lil Wayne's chain is bigger than his, which is when Bow Wow blew up.

"Don't ask no other disrespectful, stupid-ass questions," Bow said before he got up. "You got a problem, we can handle that," he continued while walking out the room.

According to what a source tells MTV.com, the "Black Carpet" interview was a planned prank, which actually took place during the summer, but both Bow Wow and Omarion were not aware that it was.

In a recent interview with MTV, Omarion commented on the incident, and although he said there are no hard feelings, he said he and Bow Wow should get the respect of any other artist.

"Everything is good, man," Omarion told MTV. "You know how it is, sometimes when you're coming up in the game and you as young as we have been, sometimes people think they can -- not necessarily push us around, but they feel they can play with us like that. If it had been 50 Cent or Game or any other man who would have stepped up in that interview, it would have went a lot differently. We want our respect, man. We want our respect as men.

"We didn't know it was a spoof, but I'm a little bit different when we handle situations. I'm very mild-tempered. I like to think about what I do before I do it. Bow gets upset," he continued.

The duo released their new collabo album, Face Off, last week, and this week it debuted at no. 11 on the Billboard 200 (see "The Charts: Bow Wow, Omarion Can't Crack The Top 10; Neither Can Anyone Else").
