Singer DANNII MINOGUE has issued an impassioned plea for people to stop mentioning cancer in front of her and her sister, KYLIE.

The X Factor judge is feeling worn down by people's constant referencing to the breast cancer her superstar sibling was diagnosed with in 2005.

And she fears Kylie, 39, who was declared free of the disease last year (06), will be held back by the constant reminders of the condition.

She tells Britain's Hello! Magazine, "I can only request that it's something that's in our past as a family and that we're allowed time to move on and enjoy what we have now." I really, really hope that one day will go past when I do not hear, see or speak the word cancer."
