Singer/writer KINKY FRIEDMAN is set for a taste of what it really would be like to play the Governor of Texas in a new movie.
The satirist, who ran for the office as an Independent in 2006, will play the state Governor in an action packed western set in the late 1800s.
Shooting on Palo Pinto Gold is set to start in January (08). The film also features country stars Roy Clark and Mel Tillis and Trent Willmon.
