ADAM SANDLER had a freaky experience when he stopped by to visit his childhood home in Brooklyn - after he found a kid who was his childhood doppelganger.

The Click star decided to drop by his old family home while filming new movie You Don’t Mess With The Zohan, in New York, but was shocked to discover a child who looked liked him, and also shared his name.

And despite being warmly welcomed by his former house’s new occupants, he was disturbed by the meeting.

He says, "I went to my old bedroom and there was a kid in there. He had curly hair, like I did when I was a kid, and his name was Adam. It was really weird."
