The Police

Reunited rock supergroup THE POLICE have scored the year’s top tour after making more than $210 million (£105 million) on the road in 2007.

Almost two million rock fans have seen Sting and his bandmates since they reformed earlier this year (07).

Another reformed rock act, Genesis, claims Billboard Boxscore’s second biggest 2007 tour with $130 million (£65 million) from 46 stadium shows.

Justin Timberlake’s FutureSexLoveShow tour came in third on the newly-announced list after performing for almost 1.6 million people worldwide.

Country star Kenny Chesney, Rod Stewart, Roger Waters and Tim McGraw and Faith Hill also made it onto the new top 10.
