The funeral for rap legend Chad "Pimp C" Butler, whose untimely death stunned the rap world last week, will be held Thursday, December 13, in his hometown of Port Arthur, Texas. The lovable 33-year-old emcee and producer, known for making controversial statements in the press and supporting unknown Southern acts, will be laid to rest at Robert A. Bowers Civic Center in a public ceremony. Butler was found dead at the Mondrian hotel in West Hollywood December 4. As of now, officials believe the rapper died of "natural causes," but autopsy and toxicology reports will not be available for up to eight weeks.
