Sean "Diddy" Combs is denying a New York Daily News report that claims he and his Bad Boy artist Cassie are secretly dating.

Monday's item reported that Diddy decided to "cut off the various girls he has around the world" and focus solely on "on-and-off flame" Cassie. A source was quoted as saying: "She recently broke up with her boyfriend, and they're in Miami together now." Another source added: "They're holed up together in Miami, very low-key. He's really in love with her."

But according to Diddy, the report is a complete fabrication. He tells PerezHilton.com: "I am still single and am not in love with anyone.

His rep says it's true that Diddy is in Miami, but that he's working on albums for all his groups including Cassie, Danity Kane, Making the Band and Donnie.

"They have all been working together around the clock constantly," says his publicist.
