DOLLY PARTON thrilled the cast of upcoming Broadway musical 9 TO 5 by serving them homemade treats every morning.

Former The West Wing star Allison Janney, who is starring in the production, was among those who queued up for Parton's culinary delights.
The actress plays the role made famous by Lily Tomlin in the 1980 film, which co-starred Parton as a busty secretary.

She says, "Dolly would come every day in her unbelievable outfits. "She'd come with peanut butter fudge or whoopie pies (cookie and cream cake) she made the night before." Parton has written nearly 20 songs for the musical adaptation.

Janney adds, "She would sit there and write new lyrics during the course of the day. She would write lyrics on a paper plate. "I would be trying to take the paper plates home with me, but she has people who grab those kinds of things to save them for her archives."
