Socialite PARIS HILTON has taken up piano lessons in a bid to take full control of her music career.

The 26-year-old - who co-wrote five songs on her 2006 debut album Paris hopes to be able to play the instrument by the time she heads into the studio to record her next LP.
She says, "This way, I can write my own music and have more control with others not pushing in."
