An ownership row has broken out over a 1970s Porsche which was once owned by former BEATLE RINGO STARR.
Scottish oil worker Stuart Johnstone insists he is the legal owner of the 1972 Porsche 911, which was presented to the singer by Charlie's Angels star Farrah Fawcett.
However, garage owner Ali Bedawi, 49, claims he snapped up the car for the bargain price of $1,500 (£750) while Johnstone was working abroad.
Johnstone, 50, from Aberdeen, had his house and possessions, including the luxury car which he bought in 1986, repossessed while he was working in Columbia several years ago and insists the vehicle is his property and he wants it back.
He says, "The bank asked Mr Bedawi's garage to value the car because they had worked on it. He said the car was scrap and made a low valuation. He then bought it for £750 - a fraction of its value. He knew the true value was 20 times that as he has now been advertising it for $35,000 (£17,500)." Lebanese-born Bedawi insists the Porsche was a wreck when he bought it in 2000 and he has spent thousands of pounds renovating it.
