Pete Doherty failed to perform alongside the rest of Babyshambles in London last night (December 6th) as he missed his first show since his recent stay in rehab.
Doherty's no-show left band mates, drummer Adam Ficek and bassist Drew McConnell, to perform a five song set without him.
Speaking after the performance, which included a member of the audience taking Doherty's place on the song, ‘Carry On Up The Morning,' McConnell told the BBC that his frontman's no-show was "a glitch".
He added: "If anything it's indicative of the fact that since things are going well these days it must be a very good reason for him not to make it to a show, which it was, but it's not really my place to say - it's his private life."
As well as a member of the audience, the ‘band' were also joined by Paddingtons guitarist Josh Hubbard, who played a cover of The Clash's ‘Janie Jones.'
When on stage, McConnell described the situation as a "pain in the arse."
