I would like to give a thanks to Wanda for saying it right. the bible was written for times way back. God loves every one gay or straight. God also said not to judge, yet people who say they follow the bible judge everyone that is not just like them.

I just wanted to respone to Elaine. Elaine make sure you don't lead people to believe homesexuality is ok with God. God is Love but not the worldly loves that said if it feels good to you you can do can do it. He loves Queen enough to teach her right from wrong . Read 1 Corinthians 13;4-13 Look at verse 6. Now I love Queen but I hate the sin. Also because I do love her I will pray that her eyes will be open and see things the way God does. Oh also look at the scriptures and get the true meaning of judging.

God is a loving God. It's SOCIETY that hates. God is forgiving. It's SOCIETY that judges. God is Almighty. It's SOCIETY that's weak and uninformed. God is all there is. It's SOCIETY that needs something more than the Bible. It's pretty sad. The Bible, written so long ago, is all that people have, when in fact, there are OTHER BOOKS out there that are current and more accurately state how God truly is. God loves us so much that he came to earth in the form of a man (Jesus Christ) to provide us LOST SOULS a way to get back to Him. He didn't have to come to earth, but He did. We don't know how to get back home, and once we died, we died. Thanks to our LOVING GOD now, we have forever to get it right; forever to get back home. We have forever to find our way back to Him, so He waits patiently for us get back. We got enough problems on our own trying to deal with life AND get back to God. Churches doesn't teach that. They don't teach that the way back home is to LOVE. To love not just ourselves, but to love other people. Not only that, we must treat each other with respect and once we've mastered this, then this thing called life ends. We can relax "back home." So where does hatred and judgment fit into this? It doesn't. Those judging will only have to come back and try it again because your Soul elect to enter into another life to FIX that part of you that judge other people. The reason God's main message is LOVE is because that's exactly what it takes to end eternal life and find our way back to Him. Those doing anything other than that will be back to try it again and again and again. When we left God, we were PERFECT and it is PERFECT that we must return, no ifs and or buts about it. Judging, hatred, intolerance isn't going to do nothing but cause your soul to create another life and you will have to start all over again. Love everybody, even your enemies, and you get to be back home with God. The operative word(s) are: Love and Tolerance There's no half-stepping when it comes to Our Father. We are all cut from the same cloth; we all came from God. We are all One - just different souls. Start loving versus judging and see where it gets you. Peace!

It says in the Bible that if your child misbehaves, take the child into town and he/she will be "stoned" to death. It says in the Bible that we can't have tattoos. However, God said that we have FREE WILL. God said that we can do whatever we want to do, and won't interfere with it unless we ask Him to, via prayer. So here we have it... "society" translating the Bible to mean what they want it to mean... and our God saying basically the opposite. The Bible was written in "ancient" times and if it applied to when it was written "way back then" then how can it apply to contemporary times today? God said LOVE and if I'm not mistaken, Queen Latifah is LOVING. The problem goes back to churches not teaching "tolerance." God is Love. God Loves Us. He doesn't punish us because we are part of God, meaning... God would be punishing God... since we are particles of our Father. Queen Latifah isn't hurting anybody and is minding her own business. It's those who are JUDGING her who needs the wakeup call, not Queen. She is one of the most inspiring women I've ever seen, especially after reading her book. I am a lesbian myself and I LOVE, not hate. God isn't the problem. It's those people out there with closed minds who need the wakeup call. We can do whatever we want. Says who? Says FREE WILL!

And who knows if God is going to burn homosexuals...it might say somthing about it in the bible...but God is merciful and he can do whatever he chooses.......it says its a sin to eat shrimp in the bible.....So I guess there goes the sea food business..

This is no surprise to me. Queen Latifah has been lying to the public for years about her orientation, but openly flirting with females. If you ever watched "In Living Single' and you should have figured out she was gay from the 'dippy bop' walk she displayed on many occasions. Remember, these are human beings first then celebrities. There are many celebrities out there that are revealing what their orientations are.

To God be the Glory in all things...God is LOVE and LOVE is for everyone...lets stop taking the scriptures in the bible and making them out to be what we want them to be...being in love with someone of the same sex is what it is...LOVE. When you read your bible...read it well and stop all the hate. God bless her and all that she achieves in life. She is not a let down, she is a victorious woman who has made the right decision for herself in her life. God is the judge of us all, not we the people...and lets not act like we dont have sins of our own that we need to look at. You dont get healed from being homosexual. I am a black lesbian woman that God has ordained to reach out to others to let them know that GOD loves them to, inspite of the dogma and the traditional church teachings that have been taught to us as children. Times have changed and we must live our lives to the fullest compacity. In all things I give God praise and if I am not suppose to love my woman then Lord God you need to do something within me right now...however since I pray this prayer...my experience is that God continues to bless me and keep me grounded and continues to order my steps into is word...TO GOD BE THE GLORY FOR ALL THINGS...IN JESUS NAME AMEN!

John, your judgement is a sin, and an abomination, as well. God does not need your assistance. So if homosexuals will burn in hell, you'll be frying right along with them. You can't speak for the masses, my dear. As an African-American, Queen has not let me down. She is being true to herself, which is completely admirable. You're right about one thing though, She is absolutely beautiful, spiritually and physically. Her acknowledgement will take nothing away from her considerable talent. Please don't sound so dissapointed, John. Even if she was straight, you wouldn't have had a shot at her anyway, because your mind is too closed.

Queen Dana Owens is a major let down. I new this was going to happen after seeing the movie when she kissed that girl. What makes me so damn mad is that she is so freaking beautiful. To me she is a let down to women, blacks, minorities, black actors and humanity altogether. I hope she likes the heat, 'cause her, Ellen, Clay, Luther, Kogo, Elton, Leroy from Fame, Michael from Good times, George Jefferson, Uncle Phil from the Fresh Prince, and Rock Hudson are ALL gonna Burn in HELL. Homosexuality is not just a sin it's an abomination!!! I am praying for them all both dead and alive.
