Ricki Lake blames her sexual abuse in her childhood for her weight troubles. Lake admitted her childhoode abuse on Access Hollywood.

Ricki's then-chunky figure helped land her the role of Tracy Turnblad in the 1988 film Hairspray but since then, Ricki has battled with her weight, recently losing 120lbs from a high of 260lbs.

The former host of The Ricki Lake Show admitted she never confronted her abuser when she eventually told her parents of the abuse, but the person was "quickly removed" from her life.
