Singer Ne-Yo has been cast as Keshon Moore in the film version of the 4Chosen documentary, the true story of four basketball players who were shot thirteen times by New Jersey policeman in 1998 while traveling from New York to North Carolina for a basketball showcase. Moore was one of the four young men (alongside Danny Reyes, Jarmaine Grant, and Rayshawn Brown) who then sued the State of New Jersey in a landmark case of racial profiling. The film, slated for a late 2008 release, is being directed by David Anspaugh and also stars Laurence Fishbourne, Cybill Shepherd, Billy Zane, and Danny Aiello. Ne-Yo and Zane will team up again next year in the flick “Mama I Want to Sing!” along with Ciara, Patti LaBelle and Lynn Whitfield. For more information on 4Chosen, visit 4chosenthemovie.com.
