Bon Jovi fueled speculation of a politically-minded career change by hiring public relations guru Ken Sunshine - who was once chief of staff for former New York Mayor David Dinkins - with his history of performing at fundraisers for high profile Democrats including Al Gore and John Kerry hinting he planned to enter the field. A source tells British newspaper The Mirror, "They both love music and were discussing Robert Plant's new album. But they weren't talking about music for two hours. Politics came up too.
