The London based duo known as The Creators have hooked up with some of the finest emcee's on planet earth for "The Weight" LP.

Dilated Peoples represent lovely with Evidence spitting on the heavy "Heart Pound", while veteran Craig G flows fluently with Will Pack on "That's My Word". The term "about to blow" applies to such guests as Likwit crew member Phil Da Agony on the tension filled "Kronkite", and card carrying underground Hip-Hop member Mike Zoot with "Hoe's And Dough" and "Oh Yeah". Blackstar add some high caliber darts to "Another World", as well as the un-Blackstar sounding "Hard Margin".

The Creators come with some next sh*t production, however not all of the guests hold their ground. El Da Sensei delivers an average lyrical performance not helped by a wack chorus, while Consequence (of Tribe fame) reminds us why we can't deal with his marble mouthed flow for more than one track.

New York and Los Angeles may have the production scene locked down at the moment, but The Creators are creepin' up from the London fog to splash the Hip-Hop fiends with the next sound.
