Traditional hip hop music beware, a new style is on the horizon. B-Boy music is here and Unsung Heroes are here to show us their style and innovation in a genre that gets little notice from big media. Unleashing their unique sound is key to their advancement. Fresh from true hip hop label, 75 Ark, they bring forth a album for the true head. You may recognize 75 Ark as the label that brought you innovators from beyond, IMG, Dan The Automator, and Mista Sinista. Blending their own version of b-boyism, humor, and raw beats and lyrics, Unsung Heroes provide a novel new album for our headphones.

Quite an accomplishment indeed. Their unique style is so shearly amazing that I recommend everyone to go out and buy this album right away. Onto the breakdown of the tracks and beats. Jumping into the cipher right away is Magnificent, that flows so smoothely you'd think it was a Jurassic 5 track. Providing the Unsung Heroes with a stunning appearence is Rob-O. Spitting on the smooth piano key laden track Rob-O unleashes, "We the generation bringing it back, encore presentation, bridging the gap, my religion is rap." Moreover, further into the track he exhibits his sensational flow and skills over a equally built beat, "Now its full circle, everybody wants to be commercial, I stay gritty, keep it controversial, for my soldiers doing lifetime bids, my wife and my kids, rep no matter how tough times is..." Surely that is the true way to start an album off, powerful track and equally strong lyricism. The Brits further notorize themselves because of the way they craft their beats to fit a emcees voice and style patterns. On this effort they fit them like a glove. Using a combination of methods to produce an iridescent style all their own Insite and Shiver, the two sinister beings that compromise Unsung Heroes, produce a seriously magnificent album. Their fresh and new music works very well with the multitude of underground emcee's that are celebrated on this album. A recurring theme on the album is that all the emcee's seemingly hate popular commercial artists with no skills that consistently talk BS. Flexing his might on smooth and colorful track; Frankenstein rhymes on Amatuers Get Hung, "Its Frankenstein in the flesh, sporting gear, and clocking guests, while the whole world revolves around material stress, I'm like a swift guillotine cutting through the counterfiet, decapitating MCs that be talking bullsh*t." Instead of injecting the usual stupid interlude or skit here or there the Heroes provide us with some very hilarious skits that show their lighthearted attitude toward the whole process. It very much reminds the listener of De La's gameshow tactics in the past. The cover and inside illustrations of the album are also something to be admired upon for their artistry and thoroughness. Enduring this album was not only a joy but a privilege. I say this because I would probably have never heard this album otherwise if I hadn't been reviewing it. This album should probably be the independent joint of the year. Its melodic blending of fresh peerless beats with the underground emcees is something to be admired and looked upon with awe. Unsung Heroes may be unknown now, but every dog has its day and the day of reckoning is on the horizon for this truly 'dynamic duo.
