Jack Black and his wife are expecting their second child. The 'School of Rock' star - who already has a 19-month-old son, Samuel, with his wife, Tanya Haden - announced at Beverly Hills' Four Seasons Hotel on Saturday the couple are to welcome a new addition to their family.

He told People magazine: "Yes, Tanya's expecting. I'm taking things on a day-by-day basis. I've been told that two children are three times as hard as one child, but then strangely three children are easier than one!"

Jack first met Tanya at high school in Los Angeles 20 years ago, but didn't have the courage to romantically approach the musician until they met by chance at a mutual friend's party in 2005. They eloped in March 2006.

Tanya is a professional cellist who performs alongside her two sisters in The Haden Triplets.

Jack can next be seen in Michel Gondry's new film 'Be Kind Rewind', which follows the story of a man who attempts to remake every film in his friend's rental store after his brain becomes magnetized and destroys the entire stock.
